Climate Conversations is back! Please join us at Powers Winery to hear from Michael Kintner-Meyer on vehicle electrification and the impact on decarbonization. Drive your EV to this event and you can plug into one of the winery's free charging stations (first come, first serve)! Presentation will begin at 2:30 so come early to try some cheese and wine.

Michael is a Staff Scientist with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory for over 20 years. He has been working in the field of energy systems modeling for the US Department of Energy, the European Union and the Federal Government of Germany. More recently, his interest centers on electric vehicles, batteries, and how transportation systems can be integrated into an increasingly smarter electricity infrastructure. For personal transportation, he chooses an EV. For pleasure, he rides his BMW motorcycle.

This event is hosted by Tri-Cities Citizens' Climate Lobby.
