Speakers Include:

Jack Nisbet ~ Author & Naturalist

Jack’s latest book, The Dreamer and the Doctor, traces the saga of John and Carrie Leiberg across the Intermountain West and
beyond. 1893, Leiberg wrangled a farm wagon across the Columbia Basin from
Spokane to Stevens Pass, collecting a fascinating variety of shrub-steppe flora
and observing farm and ranch life on the edge of the frontier. Join us for a
slide presentation to retrace Leiberg’s journey and think about the Interior landscape, then and now.

Ann Autrey ~ Owner, Tapteal Native Plants. Ann will share her knowledge and expertise in native plant propagation.  Learn about seed collection, seed treatments and how to start some of your favorite native plants.

Ernie Crediford ~ Columbia Basin Chapter Washington Native Plant Society. A life-long lover of the shrub steppe, Ernie Crediford spends much of his free time exploring and observing the plants and animals of the Columbia Basin.  Ernie is well-known for his wildflower photography which he will share in an inspirational slide show.
